Dr. Albert Schweitzer said, “I don’t know what your destiny will be, but this I do know: those who will be truly happy will be those who sought and found how to serve others.”

In this profession, I have interviewed many people at different points in the job search process. Some of the most employable candidates are the ones who have found satisfaction and contentment no matter where they are.

The way you view your job will always make an incredible difference in your job satisfaction. If you are employed, someone at your company saw a need and picked you to serve that need.

If you are not employed, sometimes keeping your attitude positive can be a challenge.  Unfortunately, a negative attitude is very difficult to hide in an interview and is a huge red flag to hiring managers.

One great way to keep your attitude positive is to find ways to serve others. Helping other people will lift your spirits and can help you stay focused on the positive.

How will you serve others in your job today? If you are not employed, how will you serve others during your unemployment?
