Drivers Needed – Multiple Openings in Louisville

Route Delivery Driver – $15.00/hour – Depending on Experience

Driving Refrigerated Tractor Trailer mostly 48’ covering  a 6 state territory with 10-15 stops daily. 10% of routes are overnight, with 3% requiring Saturday work. Routes dispatch between 2:00am – 6:00am.

Requirements:

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year current CDL Class A driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to do physically demanding work consistently
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening
  • Must be willing to release background information, including criminal record check

Delivery Driver –$12.00/hour – Depending on Experience

Perform various furniture service duties including delivery, assembly, & installation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Load furniture orders onto truck and delivers product to customer
  • Unload incoming furniture trucks using warehouse equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jack)
  • Follow all safety procedures in the performance to job duties
  • Daily interaction with customers, market furniture staff, and warehouse furniture management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience driving a delivery truck required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening
  • Must be willing to release background information, including criminal record check

Warehouse/Back-up Driver -$10.00/hour – Depending on Experience

Position is mainly working in the warehouse , secondary duties include delivery driver responsibilities. No delivery experience needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
  • Delivery experience not required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening
  • Must be willing to release background information, including criminal record check

Route Driver/Helper – $12.00/hour – Depending on Experience

Driver will typically work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm, with occasional Saturdays. Bulk of time will be driving  to anywhere from 3-10 stores daily to pickup and load tires on truck. Average day will involve picking up between 800-1200 tires.

Requirements

  • Ability to consistently lift 50lbs
  • Mechanical aptitude helpful but not necessary.
  • Fabrication, maintenance, Bobcat/Forklift and Class A CDL experience preferred
  • Must have current DOT medical card,
  • Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must have a minimum 2 years experience operating commercial vehicle
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening
  • Must be willing to release background information, including criminal record check

In our Greenville location, we are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to assist in our recruitment efforts and build a strong pipeline of candidates for our local client’s needs. The Staffing Coordinator will work closely with our clients on a daily basis to fulfill their staffing needs and work closely with our associates to ensure proper job placement while handling day-to-day office functions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in Staffing/Recruitment, Career Services or related field. Specific experience includes but is not limited to recruiting, staffing, interviewing, hiring or other similar experience. Some knowledge of Employment Law is preferred. Successful candidate will have previous working knowledge of Human Resource functions (i.e. I-9 documentation and verification, employment applications, confidentiality), previous experience interviewing/ recruiting and outstanding customer service skills. Candidates must have a high attention to detail, strong organization skills and ability to handle confidential/stressful situations with professionalism.

Requirements include:

  • College preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Experience in MS Word
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities daily.
  • 1-2 years direct experience in Staffing/Recruiting or related field, Preferred.
  • Willing to release records including criminal background check and submit to drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation to get to and from client sites, job fairs and business expos, as needed

Did you know…?

Working in the summer can be dangerous if you do not know how to properly protect yourself from the heat and sun. Many people do not realize the effect that the summer weather can have on your health and well being. There are workplace summer safety tips that can help you bet the heat and stay happy and healthy all summer long if you are willing to follow them.

Tips For Working During The Summer

  1. Always dress appropriately. Wear short sleeved shirts and shorts whenever possible.
  2. Keep all clothing light colors. The darker the fabric the more sun it will attract ans absorb.
  3. Wear clothes that breath. Nothing should be to tight. This will allow fresh air to flow over your skin and help you stay cool.
  4. Drink plenty of fluids. Water and Gatorade are to excellent choices. Stay away from sugary soda’s and energy drinks. They can speed up the dehydration process.
  5. Wear sun block if you are going to be outdoors for a majority of the day. The sun can be very damaging to your skin if it is left unprotected.
  6. Bug spray will help you avoid mosquito bites. While it is a slim chance that the mosquito will be infected with West Nile it is not worth taking the risk.
  7. Take breaks and go indoors or into an air conditioned car. It is important to allow your body a chance to recover from the heat.
  8. If you being to feel dizzy, weak or nauseous please take a break immediately. If your symptoms do not go away after getting out of the heat you should call for medical attention.
  9. 10 am till 2pm is when the sun is at it’s highest point in the sky. It is also when it is at it’s hottest for the day. If it is at all possible to avoid outdoor work during these hours it will greatly reduce your risk of a summer heat related injury or illness.
  10. Sunglasses and hats are great accessories for the summer season. Sunglasses will help to protect your eyes from harmful UV rays. Hats are great at preventing sunburn. They also help keep your body slightly cooler than it would be if you were to go without a hat.
  11. These are just a few great workplace summer safety tips that will help you to make it through the hot summer months. Remember that safety is important all year long. You should always be doing you best to work as safely and efficiently as possible.
