Excellent opportunity to serve those who protect our freedom! People Plus is currently screening for a Program Coordinator for Veteran Support Services.

Major duties:

Coordinates all aspects of the VSS Plan which includes but is not limited to recovery classes, life skills training, employment training, housing stabilization assistance, financial management, mandatory savings plan, aftercare and overall life stabilization. Coordinates the Support Services team and is the primary evaluator for the team members. Present, or coordinate presentations by experts, several weekly classes to the Veterans as appropriate for Alcohol and Drug awareness and counseling, life skills training, employment training, financial management training and overall life stabilization and other topics as required.

Document all counseling and education services, assessments, reassessments, referrals and follow up in the client’s clinical records in HMIS. Complete all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports through our VA Liaison. Engage daily with clients and confirm their signing of daily census. develop individualized action plan for each client in the first week of residences and approve the plans of other case managers.

Requirements:

  • Master Degree in Social Work or related
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
  • 3-5 years of Program Management experience.
  • Experience working with the following populations is strongly preferred, veterans, homeless, or addiction.
